Higher snowfall amounts are expected over the southern and southwestern portions of the region as a weather system moves through, bringing northerly winds and a cooler airmass. Travel will likely be challenging. Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Visibility will likely be reduced at times.
