Les inventaires gouvernementaux ont relevé omble à tête plate dans 138 lacs de la Colombie-Britannique, soit 5 % des 2 671 lacs de l’atlas où des poissons sportifs sont recensés.

Répartition

Le plus grand nombre de ces lacs se trouve dans Cariboo (36), Peace River (19) et East Kootenay (9).

Dans ces lacs, les poissons sportifs le plus souvent relevés en même temps sont : truite arc-en-ciel (78 %), Dolly Varden (62 %), ménomini des montagnes (53 %) et kokani (36 %).
